Harrison cooks up a healthy dinner

Seven-year-old Harrison Pinsker took over his school's canteen to set the menu for a day.

The youngster from Copnor Infants School took part in a national competition to come up with a healthy, tasty recipe for his fellow classmates.

Harrison was a runner-up in the competition but as far as his school were concerned he was a winner.

His dish was a lentil bake that included lentils, baked beans, tomatoes, sweetcorn, all topped off with melted cheese.

Headteacher Sue Hurley said: 'Some of the children had it for lunch and nine of the staff had it. It was lovely. We all ate it up and we are all very proud of him.'

Harrison joined Howard Bryant, from Eden Food Services, which does the catering for the school to make the dinner.
