Have your say on transport issues
Residents are being given the chance to help shape the future of transport in their area.
East Hampshire District Council is looking at public and community transport across the district to find out how the services can be improved.
The review, which will focus particularly on the needs of young people, shoppers and commuters, will be presented at the Community Forum for Petersfield, Liss and the surrounding area.
Cllr Ken Carter, portfolio holder for sustainable country towns, and Sarah Hobbs, community access officer, will give a progress update on the scheme.
He said: 'This is an excellent opportunity for local people to have their say on public transport. All information collated will be fed back to our consultants and this will help to shape the future of transport across the district.'
The forum will consider an application from Drum Housing Association for 1,800 towards running a summer workshop programme at The Petersfield School. A member of Hampshire Police will be available during public question time.
The meeting will be held at the Council Chamber, Penns Place, in Petersfield, on July 7 at 6.30pm.
