WANTED Police are appealling for witnesses to the St Mary's Road incident

A MAN who held a knife to another man’s throat in an early-morning attack is wanted by police.

He was being restrained after being suspected of making inappropriate comments to a woman walking past when he held a knife to his victim’s throat before running away.

The 30-year-old victim, who lives nearby, was not injured in the attack, which happened in St Mary’s Road, Portsmouth, at the junction with Cuthbert Road between 7.10am and 7.30am on December 19.
