Intruder took silver

A THIEF broke into a house and stole a silver jug and plate before dumping them in a nearby road.

The raider took the items from a house in Montserrat Road in Lee-on-the-Solent between 8.30pm on Saturday and 7am on Sunday.

Both were later found in nearby Swanage Road.

Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Sam Gee at Gosport police station on 101.
