Intruder is caught on CCTV
Police in Portsmouth have issued CCTV images of a man they need to identify in connection with a trespass incident
THIS CCTV image has been released in the hunt for an intruder.
Police were called to a property in Boulton Road, Southsea following reports the residents chased this man out of their home at about 3.20pm on Tuesday.
Officers believe he got into the property via the back garden, which backs onto Wish Place – leading to Albert Road.
Investigating officer, Detective Constable Steve Ryan, said: ‘I would appeal to anyone who may recognise the man in this image to contact us. It may be that the man was seen before or after the incident in Wish Place, Boulton Road or the busy area of Albert Road.
‘The fact that this man brazenly entered the property while the residents were at home has understandably left them shaken. Please remember to secure the doors and windows of all unoccupied rooms, even if you are at home.’
