Keith and Orville presented with memento of pantomimes

KEITH Harris and Orville have been presented with a special memento of their five-record breaking pantomimes in Fareham.

Mayor of Fareham Councillor Ernest Crouch presented Keith, his dame Ronn Coyles and Keith Woolfenden, Keith's stage manager and PA, with a framed version of all five of their pantos' flyers held at Ferneham Hall since 2003.

Keith Harris has said this will be his last panto at Ferneham Hall. Each year has seen them beat the box office records for the venue set the year before.

And, as a treat for the deaf and hearing impaired, they have organised a special performance of their latest, show Dick Whittington and his Cat.

The special signed performance will be on Friday, January 2 at 6.30pm and locally-based signer Bonnie Lawrence will be joining Keith, Orville and cheeky monkey Cuddles on stage for one night only to interpret the on-stage high jinks.

Bonnie will be the only cast member to be under the spotlight for the entire performance, interpreting the emotions of each scene as well as the words, not to mention all the traditional ad-libs.

The panto runs until January 4.

Tickets are limited on many performances, phone Ferneham Hall on (01329) 231942 or go to fernehamhall.co.uk to book online.
