Knife-wielding raiders target Gosport shop

POLICE are still hunting for two men after two shops were raided at knifepoint

Staff at the One-Stop in Beauchamp Avenue, Gosport, avoided injury when the men burst in demanding cash – one of them wielding a knife.

The raid at 5pm yesterday comes after a similar raid at Coral betting shop in Queens Parade, Privett Road on Friday.

A One-Stop spokeswoman said: ‘We’re relieved that our colleagues were not hurt and will be working with the police to assist.’
