A MAN was charged with making threats to kill following an incident which saw a road sealed off by armed police.
Anthony Betsworth, 52, of Selborne Road, Selborne, appeared at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court yesterday.
As previously reported, police sealed off Selborne following concerns about a man inside a house.
A six-mile stretch of road through Selborne, off the A3 north of Petersfield, was taped off in the early hours of Wednesday, March 13.
No-one was injured during the incident.
