Man found guilty of human trafficking in Portsmouth

A PORTSMOUTH man accused of human trafficking was found guilty by a jury today.

Dawid Siwak, 30, of Chichester Road, North End, was found guilty of four counts of keeping a person in servitude and one count of trafficking.

The verdict was given at Portsmouth Crown Court.

His wife Roza Urbanowicz, 34, was found not-guilty on four counts of keeping a person in servitude.

Siwak had trafficked four Polish nationals into Portsmouth and then made them work for his own financial gain.

He is due to be sentenced on February 22.
