A YOUNG man was stabbed at McDonald’s in Fratton last night.

Police have confirmed that an investigation is underway following an assault at McDonald’s in the Pompey Centre, Fratton Way, Portsmouth, shortly after 10pm.

The man in his 20s suffered stab wounds which were not life threatening.
A spokesman for Hampshire Police said: ‘Detectives are treating this report as an isolated incident.

‘This assault has no connection to Operation Bedham: the ongoing separate investigation into two assaults on women in Portsmouth on June 20 and June 29 respectively.’
