Man stabbed in the face in Gosport
A man was taken to hospital last night with facial injuries after an attack in Gosport.
The incident, which happened in Nobes Avenue, Gosport, took place at around 9.30pm.
An ambulance was called after the victim was reportedly stabbed in the face.
A police investigation is now under way.
A Hampshire police spokesman said: 'Officers are currently dealing with an incident at Nokes Avenue in Gosport, where a man has sustained a facial injury.
'It's not known how the circumstances of the injury were caused and this is under investigation.'
