Man admits drug possession

MAGISTRATES have fined a 65-year-old man for possessing cannabis.

Michael Fifield pleaded guilty to having the class B drug on him in Gosport on December 8.

Fifield, from Balfour Close, Gosport, was fined £100 by Fareham magistrates.

He was also ordered to pay £15 to a fund for victims of crime and £85 in court costs. The drugs are to be destroyed.
