Man admits to PC assault
A MAN has been convicted of assaulting a police officer.
Clifford Brooker, 50, of Middle Park Way, Leigh Park, had denied assaulting PC Nigel Fleet at The Heron pub in Petersfield Road, Havant.
But he was found guilty by Portsmouth magistrates.
Brooker was told to pay £175 in compensation and costs. He was told not to leave home between 7pm and 7am for 90 days.
Brooker admitted being drunk and disorderly.
