Man charged after Butlins incident
A MAN has been charged after police negotiators were called to Butlins following reports of an assault on a paramedic.
Officers were called to the Bognor resort in the early hours of Tuesday and found a man had barricaded himself in his flat. Thomas Pemberton, 39, of Old Road, Clacton-on-Sea, Essex, was charged with assault, affray and criminal damage.
He was bailed to appear at Chichester Magistrates on March 28.
