Miss Portsmouth beauty is after your vote

A BRAINY beauty wants your vote to help her get all the way to the Miss England finals.

Charlotte Thomson, 22, who was crowned Miss Portsmouth last month, is relying on the public vote to get her through to the prestigious awards ceremony.

The business studies graduate will be competing in the semi-finals of the competition in Leicester soon but can only win if she wins enough of the public vote.

She said: 'I am delighted to be Miss Portsmouth and honoured to have the opportunity to represent this lovely waterfront city in the semi-finals of the Miss England contest.

'I was gutted when Portsmouth FC didn't win the FA Cup. Now I hope the people of Portsmouth will show their support and vote to help me win a title in their name.'

The stunner managed to combine studying at the University of Portsmouth with appearances in magazines and television commercials. And she has helped raise money for Help for Heroes by posing for a charity beach babe calendar.

The semi-final contest includes a phone and text vote element, whereby the girl who receives the most votes secures a place in the Miss England final.

You can help Charlotte make the final by either texting 54Charlotte to 84205 or phoning 0901 6561500 and entering 54 before her name when prompted. Voting lines close at 2pm on June 14.
