DRINK-DRIVER Paul Stedman has been banned from getting behind the wheel.
The 45-year-old pleaded guilty to driving a Renault Clio in Western Way, Fareham, after drinking too much alcohol when he appeared at Fareham Magistrates’ Court. A test revealed his breath contained 57 mg of alcohol per 100ml. The legal limit is 35mg.
Stedman, from Posbrooke Road, Southsea, was banned from getting behind the wheel for 15 months.
He was told to pay £430 in a fine and £43 in court costs.
Magistrates ruled that Stedman’s driving ban could be reduced by three months. He must pay to complete a government-approved driving course.
