Police find stash of cocaine
Police found a stash of cocaine when they raided a house in Hayling Island.
Officers searched the home of Stuart Mead after receiving information from the public.
They discovered a total of 7.58 grams of cocaine divided up into 11 wraps, with a street value of about 350, Portsmouth Crown Court heard.
Prosecutor Matthew Lawson said: 'He was arrested and interviewed by the police.
'He said the drugs were his, he had bought them in bulk and divided them up because he took them when he went clubbing.'
Mead, 41, of Station Road, Hayling Island, pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of a class A drug at a previous hearing after his arrest in January.
Judge Ian Pearson ordered him to complete 100 hours of unpaid work in the community and pay court costs of 425.
