A MAN has appeared in court accused of 16 sex offences involving children.
Francis Knight, 30, of Eastern Road, Portsmouth, appeared at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court yesterday.
He faces 16 charges, including 14 relating to the abuse of boys in the Havant area and two counts in relation to the making of indecent images of children.
He was released on conditional bail by magistrates.
He will appear again at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court on April 12 for a committal hearing where magistrates will decide whether the case should be heard in the crown court.
