CCTV images have been released by police after a man spat at supermarket staff.

Officers investigating an incident at Waitrose supermarket in Rams Walk in Petersfield have released an image of a man they would like to speak to.

Staff spoke to a man at around 8pm last Friday and said he spat at them and damaged flowers as he left the store.

The man was about 17 years old, with black hair shaved at the sides, of slim build, 5ft tall, and had a tattoo on his neck.

He was wearing a black coat, a shirt with a collar, grey jogging bottoms with stripes on the side and trainers.

Anyone with any information should contact PC David Tester at Petersfield police station on 101.
