Romantic date ruined by thugs

A ROMANTIC meal was ruined when vandals smashed up a car.

The victim had celebrated a Valentine’s Day dinner with her partner when they returned to the car to find the back window completely shattered.

The silver Citroen Picasso was parked outside Folly Wine Bar in College Street, Petersfield.

The incident took place between 9pm and 10.10pm last Thursday.

PC James Street, from Petersfield police, said: ‘The victim was out enjoying a Valentine’s Day meal with her partner at the time of the incident. During this time someone has smashed the rear window of her car which has caused upset and inconvenience for the victim. I would urge anyone with any information to contact us at the earliest opportunity.’

Call 101 if you can help.
