Rush hour collision

TWO drivers escaped injury after their vehicles crashed during the rush hour.

Police were called at 7.46am after a Volvo truck and an MG car collided at the junction of Hayling Avenue on Eastern Road, Portsmouth.

Officers remained at the scene for half- an-hour and arranged for the recovery of both vehicles.

The road was not closed.
