Skydive to support Fareham charity

A charity is encouraging people to skydive to help raise money.

Local charity Kids, which is based in Fareham, works with 900 families throughout the country.

The charity needs to raise in excess of 1 million every year to continue to provide life-changing services to disabled children, young people and their families.

Now the charity is hoping people will get involved in the 2010 Tandem Skydiving Challenge.

Sarah Mills, community fundraiser, said: 'As a parent of a child that uses Kids services, I can tell you that by taking part, you really will make a huge difference to our pioneering work.'

The charity supports all disabled children and young people aged up to 25, irrespective of their medical condition or impairment.

It is free to jump, subject to the minimum sponsorship.
