Students show is a real crowd pleaser
Youngsters have been wowing audiences with a show they have written and performed themselves.
Performers from five schools across Gosport and Fareham have spent five weeks writing and rehearsing theatrical pieces.
Issues tackled during the show at Fareham's Ashcroft Arts Centre include domestic violence and children's rights.
The 50 actors, writers and dancers have been at the centre since Tuesday, when they performed the show's dress rehearsal as part of the Ashcroft Arts Centre's young people's drama festival.
The show, called Human Rights/Human Wrongs, has been seen by parents and the public since Wednesday night, with tonight the last performance.
An Ashcroft spokesman said: 'They have worked very hard on this and the show's been very well received. There are tickets still available and people can come in and pay on the door if they'd prefer.
'The show is well put together and well performed and people have enjoyed it very much.'
The performers came from Portchester Community School, Neville Lovett School, Brookfield Community School, Cams Hill School and Brune Park School.
