Sussex Police hold online forum

POLICE are holding a live webchat today for the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community.

Sussex Police is hosting the session between 7.30pm and 9.30pm.

Officers from the force’s Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) Liaison Team will be providing advice around safety, the law and policing, as well as responding to other neighbourhood concerns in West Sussex.

PC Rich Bridger said: ‘As a force, we take all hate incidents very seriously and endeavour to help all members of our community in any way that we can. If you have any issues or questions for the team this is your chance to log on for an informal chat.’

People can join at sussex.police.uk/lgbt, search ‘Brighton LGBT Team’ on Facebook or tweet @PoliceLGBT or use the hashtag #lgbtdropin.
