Talented children on song for their big show
Children are preparing to take part in a production of Joseph and the Technicolour Dreamcoat.
More than 600 children from Harrison Primary School in Fareham are taking part in the production which will take place at Ferneham Hall in Fareham on Wednesday and Thursday.
The production will be for friends and family of the children and it is a complete sell-out.
Year two teacher Sara Gmitrowicz said: 'We have always done a year six production at the end of the year. We have got quite a lot of creative staff so we thought it would be fabulous to do something that everybody in the school can get involved in.
'We decided on Joseph – a few of us had been to see it in the theatre.
'Every child is involved in some way. It's meant that everybody has had to group together as a team. It's just been colossal.
'We are all so excited about it. It was such a wonderful feeling rehearsing out on the field.'
Morgan Sheppard, 10, who is playing the role of Joseph, said: 'To have the whole school in it is really good.
'I'm not really nervous, I've practised all my lines. I'm just looking forward to it now. It's really good fun.'
