Teenager injured in Southsea
A 16-year-old boy was taken to hospital in the early hours of Saturday after an accident in Southsea.
The teenager was riding his bike in Jessie Road when he was in a collision with a grey Ford Ka.
The accident happened at around 1.35am.
Police and paramedics were quickly on scene.
The injured boy was put on a spinal board by paramedics from South Central Ambulance service.
Hampshire police told The News the boy was taken to Queen Alexandra Hospital, Cosham, with non-life-threatening injuries.
A Hampshire Constabulary spokesman said: 'We attended the incident. There was a young man, a 16-year-old, who had been injured.
'The cyclist was taken to hospital by an ambulance but he had non-life-threatening injuries.'
The driver of the Ford Ka was not injured in the incident.
