Thief steals laptop and TV

JEWELLERY and electrical items were stolen from a house in Lee-on-the-Solent.

Police are appealing for witnesses following the burglary in Cherque Farm.

It happened at some time between 9.30pm on Saturday and 2.45am on Sunday at a house in Tiger Moth Close.

Entry was forced into the home while the occupants were out. Jewellery, a laptop, a television and a pair of binoculars were stolen.

Detective Constable Dermot McBride, from the Fareham and Gosport Priority Crime Team, said: ‘This is an unusual occurrence for this area.

‘I would like to hear from anyone who noticed anything suspicious.’

Anyone with information should call Det Con McBride on 101.

Information can also be given anonymously to the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
