Top role for MP
WATERLOOVILLE MP George Hollingbery has been voted on to an influential House of Commons committee.
Mr Hollingbery has been voted on to the executive of the 1922 Committee of Conservative MPs.
The 90-year-old committee’s primary function is to keep the leadership of the party informed of the mood of backbenchers.
‘I’m thrilled to be on the executive of such an important and historic committee and it’s especially pleasing that I was voted on to it by my fellow backbench MPs,’ said Mr Hollingbery.

Monday, February 13, 2012 at 07:13 PMYou best look at the electoral map then because I think you find Hollingbery covers Waterlooville. But yeah The News is wrong, he is MP for Meon Valley http:www.election-maps.co.uk Put in Meon Valley, you'll even see partsall of Bedhampton is in Meon Valley and pretty much all of Waterlooville is. So The News and Glider are both wrong :P

Friday, February 10, 2012 at 07:46 PMGeorge Hollingbery is MP for Meon Valley, not Waterlooville. Most of Waterlooville is within the Havant constituency, for which David Willetts is MP.
