Tributes to youngster

A rugby club has paid tribute to a talented youngster who died last week.

Chris Giles, 14, from Locks Heath, collapsed with a suspected heart attack after a training session with Fare-ham Heathens Rugby Club last Wednesday evening.

He was taken to Queen Alexandra Hospital but died.

A statement released by Fareham Heathens said: 'Chris was an outstanding player in the under-15 squad.

'He always had a smile on his face and approached everything he faced with enormous enthusiasm.'

The Year 10 pupil of Brookfield Community School was also a member of Warsash Sailing Club and the Sea Scouts.
