University gives them satisfaction
The University of Chichester is the best modern university in the UK for student satisfaction, according to a guide.
The Complete University Guide 2009 has ranked the university eighth out of 113 higher educational establishments.
Only Oxford, Cambridge, St Andrew's, Loughborough, Leicester, East Anglia and Exeter universities rated higher in the satisfaction category.
The University of Chichester has also risen four places in the overall league table.
It is now ranked 67th out of 113.
The main league table is supported by information for would-be students to help them make the right choice of course and university.
University vice-chancellor Dr Robin Baker said: 'It is very pleasing to see the University of Chichester's outstanding performance in student satisfaction so clearly reflected in the Complete University Guide.
'We take great pride in the learning and teaching experience that we offer our students.'
