Wickham man stole from Masons

A man who stole lead from the roof of Fareham Masonic Club has been told to pay £785.

Stephen White took the lead from the building in Queens Road, Fareham.

White, of Garnier Park, Wickham, pleaded guilty to theft at Portsmouth Magistrates' Court.

He also admitted failing to turn up to court when he was supposed to.

The 37-year-old was fined 185 and ordered to pay 500 in compensation to the club and 100 in costs, all within two weeks.
