Woman collapses inside her home

FIREFIGHTERS helped paramedics enter the home of a 92-year-old woman who had collapsed behind her front door.

One retained crew from Waterlooville was called to Green Meadows care home, in Green Lane, Denmead, at 9.38pm yesterday.

Firefighters spent half an hour getting into the property.

This allowed paramedics from South Central Ambulance Service to go inside and treat the woman.
