THE STAR of his own handmade Olympic torch relay will be in Portsmouth for a fundraising event.

Five-year-old Logan McKerrow, from Somerset, put a cardboard torch on eBay to raise money for Hearing Dogs for Deaf People.

It’s been bought and sold around the country and raised £15,000. He will be appearing at the Spinnaker Tower tomorrow with Howard and Leslie Ilet, from Rowlands Castle, who have paid £100 for it.

The couple, who run a motorcycle training school, say they are delighted he will be joining them from midday to 2pm where people can have their photo taken with the torch to raise even more money for the charity.

Today the torch will be at the Robin Hood Pub, in Rowlands Castle, from 1pm to 3pm.
