YOUNGSTERS at Gomer Infant School, Gosport, dressed in their favourite blue outfits in a bid to raise cash for our Blue Day 12.
They collected donations for local charity the Tom Prince Cancer Trust, which the event is in aid of, and held blue-themed activities.
Pupils also played football games and took part in activities related to the sport.
Headteacher Debby Marshall said: ‘The children have all had a really good time.
‘Events like this give them a chance to have fun while learning about the community and their role within it.
‘We also like the fact that the charity supports children and that it’s a local cause.’
Before the cash was donated to the charity, it was used in maths lessons to increase the youngsters’ understanding of money.
