A NEW cafe celebrated its grand opening at a theatre in Portsea.
Groundlings Theatre, in Kent Street, has been undergoing a revamp to bring in bigger audiences.
The cafe is under new management and theatre manager Jim Wringe is excited about the new menu.
He said: ‘We’re now selling better quality food but still for competitive prices.’
Vintage costumes and accessories decorate the cafe, which has been renamed to Benny’s Tea Room. Other improvements are planned including an extension to allow more room for the drama lessons.
