Lorry carrying timber ends up in ditch in Stansted, near Rowlands Castle

A DRIVER was left shaken after his lorry ended up on its side on a country lane.

The large flat bed lorry was carrying tons of fence panels as it made its way along Broad Walk, Stansted, at 9am today.

It is not known how the accident happened and it took until the afternoon for the truck to be towed away. Chris Vardon, the owner of Oakbridge Timber which owns the lorry, said the driver was ‘shaken and stirred’ but uninjured.
