TICKETS for a music festival are selling fast.

The Waterlooville Music Festival takes place from June 11 to 19 and features a wide variety of musical events across the town.

Bands and choirs will fill the shopping precinct on the first Saturday when St George’s Church will hold its summer fete in the church grounds.

In the evening a dance night will be held with a real ale bar.

The Festival Scratch Choir will be singing show music on Sunday with selections from West Side Story, Lloyd Webber, The Sound of Music, Chicago and other well-known musicals. Singers are asked to log on for their application forms or to get them from Waterlooville Library, All Mobility or St George’s Church.

There will be a full programme of concerts taking place including the men of Portsmouth Cathedral Choir in an evening of fun and music from across the ages on Tuesday. The Ukulele Junction Workshop will also perform.
