Man cut out of car in Hilsea

A MAN was cut out of a car after a crash in Hilsea.

Fire crews from Cosham station removed the roof of a Vauxhall Astra to rescue the injured man after the crash, in London Road, at around 6.30pm.

He was checked out by paramedics at the scene but not taken to hospital.

A BMW was also involved in the crash.

The two fire service appliances from Cosham returned to the station at 7.40pm.
