A man has died in hospital three weeks after he was involved in a serious collision in West Meon.

Roger Farley, from Linden Lea, Fareham died at Southampton General Hospital yesterday morning.

The collision happened on the A32 at the junction with Filmore Lane at West Meon Hut at 9.45am on May 25.

Mr Farley, who was riding a beige Honda ST1100L touring motorcycle, lost control and was thrown into the road.

The 71-year-old was taken to Southampton General Hospital.

Police are appealing for any witnesses to call PC Nicola Houghton of Fratton Roads Policing Unit on 101, quoting Operation Scriptural.
