Man injured in Gosport road collision

HMS Queen Elizabeth due into Portsmouth

AN elderly man was taken to hospital after a car crash in Gosport.

The collision, which happened at 3.50pm in Hill Park Road involved two cars, one of which was being driven by the man.

He was taken to Queen Alexandra Hospital in Cosham for treatment to non-life threatening injuries.

Five others were hurt and were treated at the scene by South Central Ambulance Service. Three fire appliances from Gosport went to the accident.
