A MAN who was killed after being hit by a train has been identified.

Police say the victim was a 25-year-old man from Tangmere, near Chichester, although he has not formally been named yet.

The incident happened at about 2pm on New Year’s Eve at Oving and led to train cancellations and replacement buses between Barnham and Havant.

A file is being prepared for the West Sussex coroner.
