A MAN was rescued from a first-floor flat window ledge by firefighters.

He was on the ledge following a domestic dispute, firefighters said.

It happened in Magdala Road, Hayling Island, at about 11am.

One appliance from Havant fire station attended and helped the man down.

No-one was injured and there was no indication why the man was on the ledge but he had told firefighters he was ‘cleaning windows’.
