FIREFIGHTERS were called out after a fire broke out in the kitchen of a home.

Two trucks from Waterlooville went to the incident in Milton Road, Waterlooville, at 4.50pm on Saturday after a 999 call was made.

Crews in breathing apparatus used a hose reel put out the flames.

A thermal imaging camera was also used. A man living at the house was treated by an ambulance after breathing in some smoke.
