POLICE are appealing to a man who witnessed a fatal collision to come forward.

Angela Wilsher suffered serious injuries during an accident in Broyle Road, Chichester, and later died in Southampton General Hospital.

The 79-year-old, of The Drive, Chichester, was involved in the crash at 5.07pm on Thursday, August 9, when the silver VW Polo she was driving left the road and crashed into a tree.

Now officers are urging a man who spoke to them after the accident to get back in touch.

PC Doug Park said: ‘This man came forward and gave us his details but we can’t get hold of him.

‘He is a key witness and we need to speak to him. Please can he get in touch on 101 quoting Operation Boreham.’
