BOATING enthusiasts had the chance to view a range of motor and sail boats at Port Solent’s annual new and used boat show.
Whether it was people looking to buy a boat or just wanting to see what was on offer, there was plenty to see in the marina dock.
Representatives from marine electronics manufacturers Garmin, Raymarine and Simrad were there to give visitors interactive demonstrations on the latest nautical navigation equipment.
Alongside the waterfront display the RNLI charity offered a drop-in clinic where the team checked a total of 66 life-jackets over the course of the two-day event.
They also provided prospective boat owners with general information on safety at sea, reinforcing the importance of life-jacket maintenance.
The show was also a chance for on-site marine services to promote their companies, showing visitors the latest in mast and rigging equipment.
Visitors to the show praised the event’s relaxed atmosphere and welcoming staff.
