PEOPLE are being invited to see a historic ship’s boat being put through a refit.
Steam Pinnace 199 is undergoing maintenance at The Maritime Workshop in Gosport.
The restoration is being done to protect the boat from decay.
On Saturday, those working on the project will throw open their workshop doors for people to have a look at the boat and the work they have been doing.
The open day runs from 10am until 3pm.
The Maritime Workshop can be found by driving along Mill Lane, taking the third entrance into St Vincent College and driving down to the end where there is a parking area next to some moorings.
