A PORTSMOUTH park has been temporarily closed because trees have been badly damaged by the bad weather.

Portsmouth City Council took the decision to close Milton Park because it may not be safe.

It’s working with contractors to make sure the trees are inspected and made safe as soon as possible.

The park will re-open as soon as the work is completed, which may be later today or tomorrow.
