FIVE people were rescued after a minibus they were travelling in got stuck in rising flood waters.
Emergency services were called out to deal with the situation at the junction of Pook Lane and Spurlings Road, in Boarhunt, near Fareham, at about 11.35am yesterday.
The engine of the vehicle got clogged with water after the driver tried driving through a flood.
Two firefighters from Fareham fire station pushed the people carrier out, while the passengers remained inside, before arranging for it to be recovered.
No-one was injured.
