MORE THAN a dozen members of the public have signed up to take part in an extraordinary community play.

Bob and Doris Are Not Afraid is a comical take on climate change.

The lottery-funded play will be staged at Langstone Technology Park, in Havant, in May, and will use four professional actors.

The rest of the cast will be made up of ordinary members of the community.

Actors Ingrid Corrigan and Vincent Adams, from Soop theatre company, are pictured here with a teapot symbolising the British adage that everything can be sorted out over a cuppa.

But they are actually about six people short of a full cast for the play.

A second audition is being held on Sunday at The Spring, East Street, Havant, from 2pm.

Producer, David Penrose, said: ‘We’ve got a great cast so far but we need a few more people.’
