A MOTORCYCLIST has sustained ‘life-changing’ injuries after being involved in a crash with a car heading into Gosport.
Police were called to the incident on the Fareham Road and Bridgemary Way junction this morning at around 9.50am.
A section of the A32 between Wych Lane and Bridgemary Way was closed to prepare for the air ambulance to land on the carriageway, and remains closed following the collision between a grey Vauxhall Corsa and a Suzuki motorbike.
A Hampshire Police spokesman said the motorcyclist appears to have ‘serious and life-changing leg injuries’.
The male rider was taken by ambulance to Queen Alexandra Hospital.
The road has now been fully reopened, but there are still delays.
